Traditionally, Vassar College seniors in the Studio Art department have a senior show on campus for friends, family, and peers to see the culmination of their work. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the campus was closed to the public and parents were not allowed to attend graduation in person.
As a way to share our work with the world outside the college, I lead the development and design of a catalogue of the senior work to go along with a small gallery show in the Vassar College Center's Old Bookstore space. We printed 70 copies to distribute to family and friends, as well as to archive our work for the faculty and future generations of students and create a keepsake for the senior artists.
